Participation rules:

  1. Read carefully Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement of the CBUIC and inform your co-authors. All authors participated on the CBU International Conference must follow the CBUIC Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement and its rules.
  2. Submit research paper according to our article template Click to download article template till March 16, 2018.
  3. If you agree with the rules above, fill the Registration Form.
  4. Disclose all related conflicts of interest in Registration Form or in separate email using CBUIC C.O.I. form (WORD DOCX, PDF) sent to In case there are no COI, tick the “No conflict of interests apply for any and all authors of the submitted paper” in the Registration Form.
  5. Pay The Conference Participation Fee till March 22, 2018. Cash payments during the conference are acceptable. If you need visas, payment must be done before invitation.

Comments on submission

All regular participants who will come to Prague need to submit at least an abstract.

We advise you to send us at least first draft for comments during February or early March. The better your article follows our template, the later you can send you article. If it is perfect, you can submit it even during the conference. We will edit the articles afterwards, so you will still work on it with us even after conference to perfectionize your article(s).


Publication of articles

Authors are asked to submit yet non-published original articles in any of the following topics:

  • Economics, Banking, Trade management, Marketing, Management and Economics of a company, State service, Finance and accounting;
  • Psychology, Sociology, Pedagogy, Social sciences, Linguistics, Art, Religion, History, Philosophy;
  • Healthcare, Veterinary topics, Medicine, Ecology,
  • Natural sciences – Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Nanotechnologies, Electronics, Information and Communication technologies.
  • Other topics related to general context are welcome as well.
  • Therefore, we can accept nearly any topic, and we will decide in what section we will place your article.

Article requirements:

  • The draft abstracts can be about 1/4 -1/2 page long (80-150 words). The abstract includes Problem Statement, Purpose of Study, Methods, Findings and Results, and Conclusions and Recommendations (These elements may need some adaptation in the case of discussion papers: Background, Purpose of Study, Sources of Evidence, Main Argument, and Conclusions). Please note that some elements are optional in abstracts.
  • Medical topics should use Structured abstracts which can be long as much as 3/4 of a page.
  • Please see article template for details on abstract and structured abstract and check out links on how to write an abstract – llinks are clickable directly from article template’s abstract part.
  • Recommended length of articles is 5-7 pages A4 including abstracts, appendixes and references list (formatted according to template). Longer articles are accepted conditionally depending on review of contents. Extra longer articles may be accepted upon payment of extra article fee – then we can publish up to 15 pages long article.
  • Only papers in English may be accepted. Make sure your references are also in Latin script nad in English following APA examples in the article template.
  • Article must be submitted in MS Word format, tables must be editable, charts and other graphics should be in jpeg/gif images or done in Word/Excel formats. Single spacing, font Times New Roman, font size 11. Article must include abstract (annotation is not an abstract!), JEL Classification (For economics and business section) or UDC numbers (for all other sections) for identification, 2-4 keywords. The structure must include introduction, body text, conclusion and references list. References must follow APA norm, no other norms of citations are accepted. In any case related to formatting, follow our article template or contact us.

All articles are published on that site to enable worldwide indexation in various databases (ProQuest, Crossref, Google Scholar and other). This site only links to the articles published therein.

The proceedings of the conference will be published in a conference proceedings book which will be submitted for indexation in Thomson Reuters Web of Science.

Expanded articles may be also submitted to indexed journals published by Central Bohemia University (see with discount of 25%.

Want to become a co-organizing institution?

If you are an institution and want to be officially a co-organizing partner of this international conference the price starts at 1000 EUR, deadline March 16, 2018. Payment will be considered as gift and will be payable to the bank account of CBU other than standard registrations. Certificate will be provided. No goods or services (e.g. registration of participants) will be provided in return. This participating institution means that the institution becomes official co-sponsor and co-organizer. Such an option may be useful for certain institutions in certain countries in terms of regulation requirements of Ministry of Education or other regulatory and/or finances redistributing authorities. This is independent to individual participant registration.
